LINKSPAN RECOVERY
Client: Associated British Ports
Type: Salvage
Description: The Project involved the recovery of a sunken 120 tonne linkspan. The salvage required initial reconnaissance to assess the feasability of the lift. The lift was then calculated and planned by Seawork Marine Services using a lifting barge for the operation. The linkspan was successfully recovered without any further damage to the structure and was later refurbished.

SCOUR PROTECTION, BELFAST
Client: McLaughlin & Harvey Ltd
Type: Marine Construction
Description: The installation of a 10,000m2 scour mat was required to alleviate the burden of scour from vessels entering the port. The tight deadlines demanded that Seawork operate a 24-hour working schedule, with 3 dive teams continuously over a period of 2 months.

OYSTER 2 WAVE
Client: Fugro Seacore
Type: Diving
Description: The installation of a wave power generation scheme by Fugro Seacore was assisted by Seawork Marine Services. Divers had to visually guide piles through gates and into the pre-drilled 12m seabed sockets.

OUTFALL PIPE, NEWHAVEN
Client: Land and Marine
Type: Diving
Description: The construction of a 1.5km outfall pipe by Land and Marine. Seawork offered diving support; working from a vessel containing Seawork Marine Services containerised diving systems. The technically challenging Project required that Seawork Marine Services work collaboratively to successfully deliver for the Client.

RIVER LYDE CULVERT HOOK
Client: J Murphy
Type: Confined Space
Description: Structural strengthening of a brick arch culvert. Seawork Marine Services developed a methodology that allowed repair without expensive dewatering operations, this led to significant savings for the Client. Permanent fiberglass formwork was used along with high strength grout to strengthen the arch.

BROWNSEA ISLAND JETTY
Client: John Lewis
Type: Construction & Maintenance
Description: Structural repairs to the existing concrete jetty including the reconstruction of concrete and timber steps; the installation of scour protection systems and the grouting of structural voids.

PONTOON REPAIRS, HMS EXCELLENT
Client: Debut
Type: Marine Construction & Maintenance
Description: Seawork undertook the repair and maintenance of five existing pontoons owned by the Royal Navy. Three new steel pontoons were constructed and placed. Seawork Marine Services was working for the defence Facilities Management company Debut.
